Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles watched the final three couples perform from the audience last night during Dancing With the Stars. After Biles’ dramatic elimination last week, the finalists had to give it all they had before the winner is chosen tomorrow night. Each dancer performed two routines – a redemption dance and a freestyle dance – to get their last points before the finale. Tomorrow’s episode features a 24-hour fusion challenge. Here’s how it broke down last night:
Redemption Dance RoundDavid Ross with Lindsay Arnold – Viennese Waltz – “Let’s Hurt Tonight” by OneRepublic Judge’s Score: 33/40
Normani Kordei with Valentin Chmerkovskiy – Quickstep – “Check It Out” by Oh the Larceny Judge’s Score: 38/40
Rashad Jennings with Emma Slater – Viennese Waltz – “Dark Times” by The Weeknd featuring Ed Sheeran Judge’s Score: 40/40
Freestyle Dance Round David Ross with Lindsay Arnold - “It Takes Two” / “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” (Medley) by Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock/Ronnie Neuman Judge’s Score: 40/40
Normani Kordei with Valentin Chmerkovskiy – “What the World Needs Now is Love” by Andra Day Judge’s Score: 40/40
Rashad Jennings with Emma Slater – “Let’s Go” / “Uptown Funk” (Medley) from Drumline/Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars The score: 40/40
Rashad is now in the lead heading into the finals with a perfect 80 out of 80. David Ross is at the bottom of the leaderboard because of his waltz score, while singer Normani Kordei earned 78 points.
Ross has had traditionally low scores but fans kept voting him in...and after the first episode of the show aired Jimmy Kimmel made his annual pick and he selected Rashad.
