It was a potpourri of good feelings last night at Nationals Park in Washington DC, site of the Congressional charity Baseball Game. House Speaker Paul Ryan and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi hung out together. The turnout was record and generated over $1 million for charity! The Democrats won 11-2 but handed the trophy to the Republicans to deliver to Majority Whip Steve Scalese, who is still in critical condition at the hospital. And in a touching moment, one of the Capitol Hill police officers, David Bailey, shot in the ankle in the shooting came out on crutches and threw out the first pitch to a standing ovation.
