They've made it illegal to look at your phone while crossing the street

The city of Honolulu has approved a measure that makes it illegal for pedestrians to look at their phones when crossing the street; and bicyclists must walk their bikes across the street. They are trying to prevent injuries by people distracted by their phones. The law takes effect October 25 and includes cameras, laptops and video games. The first offense is as low as $15 but the fines escalate for each offense in the same year.
