After brain surgery, a teen is surprised by his favorite band OneRepublic

OneRepublic and Make-A-Wish made a teen’s dream come true by giving him a night he’ll never forget.

Brendan Prince, 17, who recovered from a brain surgery which left his body temporarily paralyzed, was thrilled to see his favorite band but didn’t realize that there was huge surprise waiting for him.

The teen from Edmonton, Canada, was granted a once in a life opportunity by Make-A-Wish to dinner and a limo ride to see OneRepublic in concert.

The band’s frontman Ryan Tedder brought Prince up on-stage for a surprise duet of, “I Lived” where the duo got to rock out together. “I just relate to it on such a personal level because of all the surgeries I’ve been through,” Prince said about the song choice. “I’ve come from being paralyzed on the left side to performing on stage at Rogers Place. This is going to stick with me forever.”

The band shared a photo of Brendan with Tedder, simply captioned: “Thanks for singing with us tonight Brendan.”

Hope when the moment comes, you'll say I, I did it all. One of the best parts of the night. Thank you @RyanTedder and @onerepublic One Republic. #yeg #yeglive #yegconcerts #onerepublic #vwaYnErG
