A professor and Trump political consigliere Roger Stone trash Barbara Bush

Warm words and praise came pouring in for former First Lady Barbara Bush after her death Tuesday (April 17th), but two people got attention for trashing her online. Fresno State University English Professor Randa Jarrar was apparently unhappy with the tributes Bush was getting and tweeted Tuesday night: "Barbara Bush was a generous and smart and amazing racist who, along with her husband, raised a war criminal.[Get] outta here with your nice words. I'm happy the witch is dead. Can't wait for the rest of her family to fall to their demise the way 1.5 million Iraqis have." When someone warned that she could lose her job over the tweets, Jarrar answered, "I work as a tenured professor. I make 100K a year doing that. I will never be fired." Fresno State officials issued statements distancing themselves from Jarrar and condemning her remarks, and said, "the incident is under review." (Well, we do guarantee people free speech...)

Meanwhile, longtime Trump confidante and notorious political dirty trickster Roger Stone posted on Instagram Tuesday night: "Barbara Bush was a nasty drunk. When it came to drinking, she made Betty Ford look like Carrie Nation. #blottoBabs," and also: "Barbara Bush drank so much booze, if they  cremated her . . . her body would burn for three days." Stone has long been a strong critic of the Bush family and wrote a book about their alleged misdeeds in 2016. He told TheWrap about his Bush posts: "She said for worse things about me. Barbara Bush was a vindictive, entitled, mean-spirited woman. May she rest in peace."

Here's how the University responded...
