Nurses at HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, Illinois, put together a "dinner date" for a married couple who've been together for 63 years who are both battling Covid-19 in separate units at the hospital. The nurses arranged the get-together after family members told them that 93-year-old Frank Martinez and 86-year-old Masako "Terry" Martinez are inseparable and very dependent on each other. After five days apart, the nurses brought Mr. Martinez to his wife's bedside, and they were able to hold hands and eat dinner together. A photo of their "date night" went viral. The couple are both still hospitalized, but are in stable condition
