Former New York Yankees star shortstop and captain Derek Jeter led the class of 2020 that was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame yesterday (September 8th) in a ceremony that was delayed by more than year due to the pandemic. A crowd of some 20,000 was on hand in Cooperstown, New York, for the event, at which Larry Walker,Ted Simmons and the late Marvin Miller were also inducted.
