A surprise box full of cash showed up at the City College of New York, and while the sender remains a mystery, the man who found it is determined to use it to help others. "I'd never seen this kind of money before in my life, in a box, in cash, except for in movies," said City College Physics Chair Vinod Menon, Ph.D. It sat there for almost a year, unopened and unsecured. The box was full of $50 and $100 bills to the tune of $180,000. "There was bubble wrap, I opened the bubble wrap and there was all this money," Menon said. "So I closed the thing up, held it on my chest, called up the dean."
