Customer signs off on an 18% tip, then demands a refund and a 25% discount

A restaurant server made a TikTok to vent about a customer who she says tipped her 18 percent then demanded a refund. The server, Madi Montes (@madison_montes), works at a sports bar and said she was having a “great moment” with a couple dining at the bar until she brought them their check. After the couple paid, they asked for a printed receipt, which Montes said wasn’t normal since the system is automated and electronic. Upon seeing the check the customer said, “Um I didn’t order the gratuity.” Montes tried to explain that it was a tip that she signed off on, but the woman demanded to see the manager to get the tip removed — and to ask for a 25 percent discount. WTF?
