Someone who saw this sign on the door of Hyman's Seafood Restaurant posted it on social media and that's all it took to go viral.
Like many cities, Charleston has its share of the homeless who often go hungry for lack of food. They will resort to digging in the trash tying to find something to eat.
The owner of Hyman's posted the sign saying that to maintain their dignity and a sense of respect, he didn't want them doing that but instead he'd offer them something to eat and drink...and they've been doing it for years.
