Her name is Arina Bloom and in an article on Business Insider she states she was a flight attendant for two years and is sharing the most common things people waste money on at the airport. Here are some of her comments and a link to the article. In it, she writes: When I joined the airline industry as a flight attendant, I thought we'd learn all the secrets for getting the cheapest tickets. But, instead, I had to pick them up myself or through my colleagues. Some highlights of her article include:

If you fly business class, you can usually save by waiting to upgrade at the airport

Never waste money on bottled water at the airport

Never waste money on airport food

Freeze your liquids to avoid checking a bag

You can find better deals online than at the duty-free shop

Some days are cheaper to purchase tickets than others

Onboard purchases are overpriced

It's almost never worth it to exchange money at the airport

It pays to stay loyal to one airline

Parking adds up, especially if you're away on a longer trip
