A child lemonade stand was scammed with a fake $100-dollar bill, the Everett (Washington) Police Department reports.
Just outside of Seattle, 12-year-old Jeremy Ryzhonkov was asked to break a $100-dollar bill...and to give exact change. But the bill was counterfeit, meaning the boy made no money on the sale.
In fact, the child used $85 of his own allowance to make change for the suspect. While the suspect has not been arrested, a GoFundMe for the boy has already raised over $9000. The boy, instead of being deterred, is back selling lemonade
