Adam Lamb was riding his motorcycle in Clear Creek County, Colorado, and knew he was in trouble when an animal popped in front of him. He hit it and flew over the animal. Several people stopped to help him, including an off duty search and rescue team member. In the end about a hundred pounds of meat went to Lamb, who hit a moose, which died on impact. It’s going to be a few weeks before Lamb recovers but when he does “we’re going to have a celebration” when he can maybe hold a stick over the fire and roast some marshmallows and moose meat.
