While there have been no reported developments in the case of missing Quinton Simon of Savannah, the story now has gone national with news outlets from Atlanta, Chicago and New York picking up the story.
Chatham Police’s dispatch audio from the day Quinton was reported missing has been obtained by WSAV News 3.
Chatham County Police Chief Jeff Hadley says “I still hold out hope,’ adding “The Elizabeth Smart case comes to my mind. Many years ago in Utah, I believe she was gone for several months and ended up being found.”
“So if I can hold onto that hope, if there’s something we can grab onto and keep us moving, we’re gonna do that.”
At the residency of Quinton Simon, a 20-month-old toddler who’s been missing in Chatham County since early Wednesday morning. If you listen closely you’ll hear a scuffle and arguing from the family’s backyard (audio below)
Quinton Simon’s babysitter has spoken to reporters since the toddler mysteriously vanished last week.
“It’s been horrible,” said Diana McCarta, according to ABC30.
