ABC's 'The View' had Senator Ted Cruz as a guest on Monday and audience members wasted no time to loudly protested Ted Cruz’s appearance. The show was even forced to cut to commercial when the women shouting turned profane.
“F— you Ted Cruz, you climate-denying piece of s—,” said one protester.
Then, as Cruz was answering one of the host's questions, more shouting phrases can heard including “Cover climate now!” Host Alyssa Farah Griffin cut in, reassuring the audience that “We do cover climate here guys,” while moderator Whoopi Goldberg yelled at the protestors to stop.
“Excuse me! Ladies, ladies! Excuse us! Let us do our jobs,” Whoopi said. “Let us do our job. We hear what you have to say, but you gotta go! You gotta go. You gotta let us do our job.”
