Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers in Florida found a gun stuffed inside a raw chicken at Fort Lauderdale's International Airport.
"There's a personal fowl here," the TSA tweeted. "The plot chickens as we barrel our way closer to Thanksgiving."
Guns and ammo are prohibited beyond airport security checkpoints. Passengers may travel with firearms if they are packed, unloaded, and secured in checked luggage. They also need to be declared with the airline.
Check TSA's website for guidance on traveling with firearms, so you don't end up chicken-roasted.
