When you’re hungry, you order @UberEats .. Who cares if there’s a live college basketball game being played?
An Uber Eats deliveryman with a McDonald's order walked onto the court during a college basketball game Wednesday night. The game between Duquesne and Loyola was halted after the man narrowly missed running into Loyola forward Philip Alston.
"Was he going to deliver the McDonald's to somebody on the court? Can we rule that out?" one announcer joked on the ESPN+ broadcast.
Those at the game tweeted that he found the hungry customer. Uber Eats weighed in on the event by tweeting, "nothing but net."
