A woman in Dayton, Ohio, has a 9½ foot werewolf statue in her yard that she bought as a Halloween decoration last October, and she has decided to leave it up all year. Mary Simmons has been dressing the werewolf, which she named Paul, in various costumes to represent seasons and holidays. The werewolf has its own Facebook page with over 2,000 followers.
… While neighbors have largely been welcoming of Paul’s presence in her yard, at least one resident sent an anonymous complaint to the city of Dayton, which issued Simmons a warning. However, city officials said they have no plans to further enforce the werewolf’s removal at this time.
