Imagine 1,100 people dressed (and wigged) just like Dolly Parton all in one place at the same time, singing and dancing. Now imagine that most of them have an unmistakable Irish accent. That was the scene at the Dolly Day event in Listow, Ireland, as the town threw a fundraiser with an entrance requirement that all participants come wearing a full head-to-toe Dolly Parton costume. A representative of the real Dolly Parton was on hand for the event and promised to share pics with her in hopes of convincing her to visit the town. The event was a fundraiser for the Kerry Hospice and Comfort for Chemo center.
