"It's what neighbors do!" A birthday party for Ellie whose mom has cancer

A woman who was battling cancer was worried that she couldn’t give her daughter the party she wanted, until her neighbors stepped in.

Justin and Nicole had just moved into the neighborhood. She was going through cancer treatment which was taking its toll. She really wanted to do something special for her daughter Ellie's 7th birthday but it was more than she could do.

On social media she asked folks in the community to send a birthday card. But several of the moms decided that wasn't enough, so they threw a surprise birthday party. It was a surprise for Ellie and for her mom! Watch.
