The National Weather Service baked cookies in a car in Midland, Texas to show the sun is no joke!
While it was 105 degrees Fahrenheit outside, the temperature inside a closed car rose to 190 degrees in four hours. This was hot enough to make cookie dough on the dashboard rise and fully cook!
"This heat is still incredibly dangerous to anyone left in a hot car," the weather service posted on Facebook. "Look before you lock!"
