Have you ever noticed the food you buy doesn't look quite like the ad? Frank Siragusa has. Siragusa is the plaintiff in a class action lawsuit alleging that Taco Bell "materially overstates the amount of beef and/or ingredients contained in its advertisements for the Overstated Menu Items by at least double the amount."
The Overstated Menu Items mentioned in the lawsuit include: The Crunchwrap Supreme; Grande Crunchwrap; Vegan Crunchwrap; Mexican Pizza; and Veggie Mexican Pizza.
The complaint also features images of Taco Bell menu items as advertised, compared with photos customers took of those same items.
Advertising photos tend to show tortillas stuffed full. By comparison, the real-life orders look much flatter.
