What an odd story.
Tim Bliefnick, a former contestant on the TV show Family Feud, has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his wife, Rebecca Bliefnick. The incident occurred in Quincy, Illinois, where Tim broke into his wife’s home and opened fire, resulting in her death. Rebecca’s body was found with multiple gunshot wounds on February 23. Tim’s sentencing includes three life sentences, with no possibility of parole, credit for time served, or any chance of release.
… Bliefnick’s sentence was handed down more than three years after he drew gasps from a Family Feud audience for one of his answers. Competing on the game show with some family members — not including his wife — he was asked by host Steve Harvey, “What’s the biggest mistake you made at your wedding?” “Honey, I love you,” Bliefnick prefaced. “But… said ‘I do.'” When the audience loudly reacted to his words, Bliefnick remarked, “Not my mistake! I love my wife.. I’m going to get in trouble for that, aren’t I?”
