Ami and Matt Juel were among the tourists vacationing in Hawaii when the wildfire broke out. They were safe on Oahu but had stayed in Lahaina in January with their two boys. On a family walk Edison told his parents he wanted to have a lemonade stand and his parents thought it was the perfect opportunity to show some support for a place the family loves. They thought he might make $100. Through cash and Venmo donations, and by leveraging their employer's 3:1 corporate match, Edison overshot their estimates. In just a few days the family amassed more than $16,000 and redirected the money to the Maui Community Fund
