In Arizona, an animal control officer found a shy and sad senior dog who had been picked up as a stray. The officer scanned the dog for a microchip and discovered that his name was Minion.
She called the number on the microchip and left a voicemail. Hours later, Minion's owner called back and revealed that the dog had been missing for 12 years since running out through a back gate.
The officer then drove Minion, who is now 15 years old, back to his home. Before opening the kennel, she explained to the owner that Minion is not a fast mover anymore. But as soon as the kennel was opened, Minion saw his family and started wagging his tail with excitement.
