Rescuers in Turkey have successfully saved a US citizen trapped in the country’s third deepest cave for over a week. Mark Dickey developed stomach problems while exploring the Morca Cave. The rescue operation involved more than 150 people and was described as one of the largest and most complicated underground rescues ever attempted. Dickey was brought out of the cave using a stretcher. He was suffering from gastrointestinal bleeding, but his condition improved after receiving a blood transfusion.
