Slot machines and hotel rooms across Las Vegas malfunctioned Monday due to a cyberattack on MGM Resorts systems. MGM Resorts run a number of Las Vegas hotels like the Bellagio and Mandalay Bay.
Social media posts show non-working slot machines, canceled reservations, and the inability to check into hotels along the Vegas strip. One customer was able to open a hotel room door that was not hers.
"Our resorts including dining, entertainment and gaming are still operational," a statement from MGM Resorts said. "Our guests continue to be able to access their hotel rooms and our Front Desk is ready to assist our guests as needed."
