One TilkToker has been upset by the price hikes at McDonald's.
I mentioned recently a Connecticut restaurant charging $18 for a Big Mac combo meal. Now Christopher Olive says in his video that a bacon cheeseburger with fries and soda cost him $16.
"So, I understand there's a labor shortage, wage increases, and a number of other factors," Christopher Olive says in his video, while capturing his bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a soda. "But $16? $16 for a burger, a large fry, and a drink? It's just crazy!"
His receipt clearly shows that the single meal purchased cost Olive $16.10 in Idaho. However, other states are seeing even greater hikes.
Olive's TikTok has gained traction recently as McDonald's reported a revenue increase of 14% in its third quarter. As a result, its net income jumped some 17% to $2.3 billion.
