Sanitation workers in New Hampshire undertook a remarkable effort to recover a resident's lost wedding ring, delving into 20 tons of trash. The town's General Services Director, Dennis Senibaldi, received details from the resident, including the time the ring was discarded and specific contents of the trash bag.
Utilizing surveillance footage, Senibaldi's team located the right bag after sifting through 12 feet of garbage. The lost ring was successfully retrieved approximately two hours into the search.
This marked the third instance in two years that the sanitation team had assisted in finding a lost wedding ring in a similar manner.
Senibaldi highlighted that the previous such incident had occurred almost exactly a year earlier.
