The 1984 film "This Is Spinal Tap" may look like a documentary of a rock band, but of course there was no real group with that name and the film was totally improvised by its stars and its director Rob Reiner.
For years fans have wondered if they would ever see a follow-up and now, finally, we have the answer: Yes! and it will be loaded with guest cameo appearances.
According to director Rob Reiner, they start shooting in February and as far as the original cast, he says, “Everybody is back.” And that includes Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer as the main trio from the band.
Paul McCartney, Elton John, and Garth Brooks will have roles in the sequel to the 1984 cult classic, This Is Spinal Tap. Possibly cameos.
