A Kansas man in Rose Hill has decorated his home with 100,000 lights in honor of "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation."
In the holiday classic, Clark Griswold, played by Chevy Chase, covers his entire home with 25,000 lights. Michael Russell has four times as many lights along with a cutout of Clark Griswold holding Christmas gifts.
Russell started the project 15 years ago. "I had a bad year this year. This brought joy,” Russel said. “I know kids are going to love it."
About 8,000 people visit the Griswold-inspired home each year
