Spirit Airlines sends an unaccompanied child on the wrong flight

You remember what happened to Kevin in "Home Alone." It may have not been such a far-fetched scenario.

Spirit Airlines reportedly sent an unaccompanied minor on the wrong flight to Florida. Six-year-old Casper was supposed to fly from Philadelphia to Fort Myers to visit his grandmother for Christmas, but instead landed in Orlando.

Grandmother Maria Ramos said she didn't get a clear answer from the airline at first, but realized where Casper was when he called her.

"How did that happen? Did they get him off the plane? The flight attendant — after mom handed him with paperwork — did she let him go by himself?" Maria Ramos asked.

The airline has apologized and is launching an internal investigation into the incident.
