A coupon for coffee from 1983 is successfully redeemed. Watch this video!

Used to be that companies would offer coupons for products without them having an expiration date. True! I have some of them.

Now...a TikTok video has excited the coupon clipping community. The video shows a coupon from 1983. The video, posted by the It Is Expired account, begins with the creator displaying a Folgers Coffee coupon, which was good for 30 cents off a can of coffee. Next it’s taken to a local supermarket to test its validity. Much to the creator’s surprise, the cashier was able to scan the coupon, resulting in a satisfying beep from the register.

… In addition to the coupon’s successful use, the video also shows the creator making the coffee and pouring it into an old, restored coffee cup that was found in an air duct.
