Magician David Copperfield is facing serious allegations of sexual misconduct from 16 women. The accusations, detailed in a recent Guardian exposé, span from the late 1980s to 2014. Some of the women claimed they were underage at the time, with three alleging they were drugged during the incidents. Many of the accusers stated that they encountered Copperfield during his shows, with some women choosing to remain anonymous. The allegations include claims of onstage groping during live performances.… Copperfield’s legal team vehemently denied all claims of improper behavior and stated that the allegations were baseless.
Copperfield, whose real name is Seth Kotkin, performed in the Savannah Civic Center three times during the 1980s and 90s.
