SNL's Colin Jost was brought to Tahiti to be an Olympic correspondent for events held out there like surfing.
But then came the staph infection of three toes which did not seem to be getting better. He did a video that said he was spending more time at the medical tent than the Olympians.
Now he ends his Olympics correspondent gig early, after suffering from multiple injuries and illnesses while on location in Tahiti. According to 'Deadline,' the 'Saturday Night Live' star left the country and NBC found a replacement for the remainder of his on-air duties. It's unclear if Jost plans to be in Paris for the closing ceremony.
