John Legend is releasing his first collection of children’s music, titled “My Favorite Dream.” The album features nine original tracks produced by Sufjan Stevens, as well as three instrumental covers in collaboration with Fisher-Price. The announcement was accompanied by a pre-release single called “L-O-V-E.”

My Favorite Dream will feature nine original tracks, all of which were produced by Sufjan Stevens. In addition, as part of a collaboration with Fisher-Price, the LP will feature three instrumental covers of songs children might recognize from their own toy lines.
“I’m right in the thick of fatherhood,” Legend shared in a statement. “My parents loved to sing around the house, making up bedtime songs for us and songs to motivate and inspire us, and Chrissy and I also love singing to our kids…In our home, music is very important to the way we interact and communicate with them.”
