A video posted by a mom revealing the enthusiasm with which her husband picked up their homesick daughter from a sleepover in the middle of the night. Since it was posted, the video has received over one million views and over 185,000 likes, with many praising her husband for creating a "core memory" for his daughter.
"She was at her very first best friend's sleepover. It's 3:30 AM and couldn't sleep without us. Called her daddy and he ran to the rescue to bring her home for some cuddles," she wrote in the caption. "Daddy's girl for life."
"Daddy had to wake up for work at 5:30 AM. Truthfully, he couldn't sleep without her home and jumped up as soon as she called. Then they decided they needed some 'night snacks,'" she wrote.
The video shows the creator's husband and daughter walking into a grocery store hand-in-hand for the nighttime provisions.
