Simone Biles’ Birth Mother Seeks Forgiveness For Abandonment

Last week I shared with you the next phase of Simone Biles' life: becoming a mother. She and her hubby have talked about starting a family and she's excited to make that happen. (Interview below.) But now her mom Shanon has come forward to hopefully reconnect with her daughter whom she abandoned due to her addiction. She hopes Simone will reach out so she can seek forgiveness. She says: "I talk about being an addict and the importance of staying away from people, places, and things that enable addiction. I rely on my dad for support and guidance, but I'm waiting for my estranged daughter to reach out to me instead of contacting her directly."
