Child reported missing turned out only to be "playing Hookey" from school

A New York City boy who was feared missing was caught by a news helicopter playing hooky. After the nine-year-old didn’t show up for school, parents called the police, and a news helicopter headed to the scene only to find the boy relaxing on the rooftop of his apartment building. “We zoomed in with the camera. It appeared to be the child that fit the description of the missing child,” reporter Dan Rice said. Officers arrived on-scene and gave the chopper a thumbs up. It’s unclear how long the child will be grounded for.
