"Matlock" and "Misery" star Kathy Bates opens up about her weight loss

If you've seen her lately you know Kathy Bates has lost quite a bit of weight.

As a cancer survivor many thought she was ill.

Here, Kathy Bates talks to PEOPLE about losing 100 pounds, her new role on 'Matlock' and when she plans to retire from acting. She discusses her 6-year health journey and clears the air about Ozempic rumors: "I lost about 80 pounds [without medication], and the last 15 or 20 is always the hardest, so when Ozempic came out, I thought 'OK' and I went to my doctor."
