Loretta Swit, who rose to fame as Major Maragaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan on the sitcom “M.A.S.H,” passed away Friday May 30. She was 87 years old. Loretta’s death was confirmed by her publicist Harlan Boll. The New York police reported that the actress died at home Friday afternoon of suspected natural causes, per her publicist. Loretta was a 2-time Primetime Emmy winner, and was a staple of comedy set during the Korean War for the show’s 11-year run from 1972 to 1983.
