Usually lobsters are brownish-red when alive, but a rare calico lobster has been found in Maryland. The owner of Ocean City Seafood in Silver Spring, Maryland noticed the lobster in a batch caught off the coast of Maine and set it aside. He consulted the National Aquarium in Baltimore on how to care for the lobster, now named Eve. The crustacean lives in a saltwater tank at the store for now, but could end up at the Georgia Aquarium thanks to its 1-in-30 million mutation.
