The Savannah College of Art and Design’s Annual Sidewalk Arts Festival is back and set for this Saturday, April 23rd, from 11am to 5pm at Forsyth Park. SCAD Students, alumni, and local high school students will be able to sketch chalk art designs on the nearly 800 squares in Forsyth Park and compete to win prizes.
This is a great event for the whole family to attend. The festival will includes an installation of papier-mache vases by SCAD alumnus Trish Anderson, performaces from SCAD's performance ensemble, The Honeybees, and food vendors like Chick-fil-A, Leopold’s Ice Cream, Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffee and Smoothies, Roly Poly, and Savannah Square Pops.
