MEET MONA: Our pet of the week (dog)

Our pet of the week for One Love is Mona!

Beautiful Mona is a two year old lab/ hound mix looking for a low key family to love and provide her a forever home. She is house trained, crate trained, knows some basic commands and is well behaved inside. Outside, Mona is very watchful and alert to things that move and is a great sprinter. She likes being outdoors and would do best with access to a fenced in yard. Her energy is typical of a younger dog, she enjoys being active and engaged, but doesn't require a high level of exercise. Mona loves her people. Once she gets to know you she is very affectionate and will seek out your attention for playtime, petting and snuggles. With unfamiliar people she tends to be shy and is sometimes nervous around strangers. Mona is working on her leash manners and can be reactive to other dogs when on a walk. With a proper introduction, she does well with submissive dogs, and has become great friends with her foster dog brother. She would also be fine as the only dog in the household. Mona will be a loyal companion to a family of adults or older children who respect her space and help make her feel secure. This sweet girl has lots of love to offer!
