The Savannah-Chatham public school system has cancelled all classes for Friday as Hurricane Irma moves up the coast.
School will also be cancelled on Monday and Tuesday. The return to school date is subject to change.
District staff will report to work on Friday as notified by their supervisor. Today remains a regular school day with no changes to school operations.
