- A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for Chatham County
- A Storm Surge Warning is in effect for parts of Chatham County
- A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Chatham County
- Talmadge Memorial Bridge on US 17 will be closing at noon on Sunday.
- EAA (Evacuation Assembly Area):
- Helped 2,500 people evacuate TODAY
- Will start Sunday at 8 a.m. for anyone still wishing to evacuate
- The City of Port Wentworth evacuation assistance:
- Anyone wishing to evacuate must be at City Hall Sunday morning by 10 AM
- The bus will leave promptly at 10 AM
- If someone needs a ride to City Hall, please call Mayor Glenn Jones at (912) 657-2889 and arrangements for pick-up will be made
- The City of Bloomingdale:
- They have no plans to turn off water service
- If residents lose power the septic system grinder pump motor will not work
- Emergency Services:
- If we sustain winds of 39 mph, emergency services will be suspended until weather permits
