SAV Update - Hurricane Irma
SAVANNAH, GA – Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport is prepared for the resumption of commercial air service Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Please check with the airlines for schedules and to confirm reservations. Due to evacuations and the impact of Hurricane Irma across the region some of the airlines will still operate on a limited schedule and some of the airport shops and restaurants could be closed even when flights are operating.
Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least two hours prior to your flight to allow extra time to get through the TSA checkpoint.
Airport parking is open and accessible. Customers who wish to return a rental car may utilize the drop boxes located at the rental car counters if an attendant is not on duty.
It is important to remember that changes in flight schedules are determined by each air carrier. The airlines will always be the best source for information, and passengers should check airline websites and mobile apps for the most up-to-date flight information.
Up-to-date flight information can be found on flySAV.com, airline websites, and social media pages. Please monitor Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport's Facebook page or follow us on twitter @fly_SAV for the latest information concerning airport operations.
