Salma Hayak is donating $100,000 to help with relief efforts in Mexico City after it was rocked by a 7.1 magnitude earthquake on Tuesday. The 51-year-old actress explained via Instagram that she survived a terrifying quake in 1985 herself. “After the 1985 earthquake in Mexico City, I was evacuated from my building,” Hayek said in the video. “A lot of friends died, including an uncle that was very, very close to me.” Hayek added that she is starting a Crowdrise to help raise money for families “going through this nightmare.”
