Ben Affleck is selling his Georgia plantation for $8.9 million. The 87-acre property is on an island preserve and includes a Greek Revival mansion. Affleck purchased the property for $7.1 million in 2003. He reportedly fell in love with Georgia after filming 1999’s Forces of Nature with Sandra Bullock.
This reportedly was the home he planned to share with Jennifer Lopez at the time.
The property is on Hampton Island, surrounded by the North Newport River, and accessible only with permission. Technically situated in Riceboro, GA, the home sits about 30 miles south of Savannah.
… The 6,000-square-foot main residence has four bedrooms and 4½ bathrooms.
… Affleck is in the midst of a divorce from actress Jennifer Garner. He recently purchased a $19 million home in Los Angeles, just blocks from where Garner lives with their three children
