Tom Hanks is Mister Rogers, coming to a neighborhood near you next year. On Thursday Sony Pictures shared a picture of Hanks as the late children’s TV show host. The movie, You are My Friend, will be out in October, 2019. The film will not be a biopic. It’s described as “a movie that’s largely focused on a reporter and Mr. Rogers’ relationship to his life, and how the reporter’s whole world changes when coming in contact with Fred Rogers.”
